Everyone should be able to use this site, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What's in place
- Text and buttons meet WCAG AA color contrast.
- Body text uses Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed by the Braille Institute for readability.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip to the main content.
- Pages use clear headings and landmarks, so screen reader users can move through them easily.
- Images have text descriptions, and the site respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
- Buttons and links are sized for easy tapping on phones.
Known limitations
Case studies include screenshots of other organizations' websites and tools. Each screenshot has a text description, but the text inside the screenshots isn't readable by screen readers. The surrounding case study text covers the key information.
