Brody Experience Strategy

Better experiences for the people you serve, built with the resources you have.

Brody Experience Strategy helps small businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies find and fix what's slowing down the people they serve.

Services: How I can help

Customer experience strategy

There's friction you've learned to live with

Things work, but they could work better, and you answer the same questions every day. I map how people find you, decide to work with you, and get what they need, then pinpoint the gaps and what to fix first.

Website and content strategy

People find you, but they don't reach out

Your site gets visitors but not enough calls, or it was built for an earlier version of your organization. I plan what it should say, how it's organized, and how local people find you, so visitors know exactly what to do next.

Service and process design

Every person gets a slightly different experience

Answers depend on who's working that day, and your tools don't talk to each other. I streamline intake, training, and documentation so the experience is consistent and your team spends less time on repeat work.

Built for your budget

My goal is to work within your resources, not add to your costs. I start with the tools and team you already have, and I won't recommend new purchases unless they clearly earn their place. If a simple fix will do, that's what you'll get.

Don't see your situation here? Book a call anyway. If it's a customer experience challenge, I'm glad to build a project around what you need.

My process

  1. Free discovery call

Tell me what's going on and what led you here. I'll ask questions to make sure it's something I can help with, then walk you through how I'd approach it. Within two business days, you'll get a personalized quote.

  2. Research

I interview the people involved and look at the evidence—like reviews, customer questions, and data—to pin down what's actually causing the problem.

    No surprises

If I uncover something unexpected, I'll share my findings and we'll align on where to go from there.

  3. Strategy

I put together a clear plan built around your budget, team, and tools.

  4. Build and hand off

If the project needs a deliverable, like a new website, training materials, or an intake process, I create it. Then I train your team on it so they can maintain it independently.

Hi, I'm Meggie.

I started my career in public libraries and at the Library of Congress, where I found what still drives my work: connecting people with what they need. Since then, I've spent years as a UX and content strategist at Dell and eBay, finding what holds experiences back and measuring whether the fix worked.

Now I bring that approach to small businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies. I know your team and budget are already stretched, so I work with you to make real improvements within your range and scope, not to sell you a bigger project than you need.

FAQs

What does it cost?

Every project is quoted individually, based on what we discuss on the discovery call. You'll get a personalized quote within two business days, with no obligation. My goal is to work within your budget, so tell me what you have to work with, and I'll shape the project around it. Most projects start at $1,200, but if you need advice rather than a full project, I also offer strategy sessions for $100/hour.

How long will the work take?

Projects take anywhere from three weeks to a few months, depending on what you need.

Will I need to buy new software?

Probably not. I start with the tools you already use. If something new would genuinely help, I'll explain why and look for free or low-cost options first.

Do you build websites?

Sometimes, when a new or updated site is the right fix. But I start with the problem, not the website. Often the answer is a clearer message, a better process, or a few changes to what you already have.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Home service and professional service businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies like libraries and local governments. If you're not sure whether you fit, reach out.

Let's talk about what's going on.
